BMUV press conferences at the COP28 World Climate Conference in Dubai on 9 and 10 December 2023

Ladies and Gentlemen,

the final days of the COP28 Climate Change Conference in Dubai have begun. Negotiations are now continuing at ministerial level, with Federal Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock and Federal Environment Minister Steffi Lemke representing Germany on site as of today.

Each day at COP28 will focus on a different topic. Tomorrow, Saturday 9 December, will be "Nature, Land Use, Oceans Day".

To mark this "Nature Day", we cordially invite you to our press conference with Federal Environment Minister Steffi Lemke and the Executive Director of UNEP, Inger Andersen.

Topic:

On the importance of natural climate protection, resource efficiency and circular economy, biodiversity conservation and the protection of the oceans for global climate protection goals.
