The 26th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) (COP26) will take place in Glasgow, Scotland, from 31 October to 12 November 2021. This year, too, the Federal Foreign Office, the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety and the German Climate Consortium are pleased to invite you to a virtual briefing in the run-up to COP26:

You will be welcomed by President of the UN Climate Change Conference Alok Sharma (tbc), State Secretaries Miguel Berger and Jochen Flasbarth, IPCC lead author Professor Astrid Kiendler-Scharr and Dr Melanie Maas-Brunner, Member of the Board of Executive Directors of BASF, among others. Together with additional experts from the fields of politics, business, science and civil society, we will discuss the goals of the upcoming COP26 in Glasgow and the possibilities for significantly speeding up our progress along the path towards climate neutrality.
