Mr. Edward {Late} had a fixed deposit with my bank in 2011 for 108 calendar months, valued at GBP30,000,000.00 (Thirty Million Great British Pounds) the due date for this deposit contract was on the 22nd November 2022. Sadly, he was among the death victims on the 28 September 2018,Sulawesi earthquake and tsunami in Indonesia that killed over 4,150 people. He was in Indonesia on a business trip and that was how he met his end. My bank management is yet to know about his death, I knew about it because he was my friend and I am his account officer. He did not mention any Next of Kin/ Heir when the account was opened, and he was never married and had no child. Last week my Bank Management requested that he give instructions on what to do about his funds, if to renew the contract or to receive his funds back.

As an officer of the bank, I cannot be directly connected to this money; thus, I am impelled to request for your assistance to receive this money into your bank account on my behalf. I agree that 50% of this money will be for you as a foreign partner, in respect to the provision of a foreign account, and 50% would be for me. There is no risk involved in this transaction. It's going to be a bank-to-bank transfer. All I need from you is to stand as the next of kin of this fund so that the funds can be transferred to your account.
